Mustang Headliners

Until 1979 Mustang headliners were "bow mounted" headliners. The Mustang roof was covered with Ford Mustang Tier vinyl fabric held in place by special headliner bows. Mustang headliner bows should last through several headliner replacements. Please notify us if you require us to cut replacement Mustang headliner bows.

Other Headliner Types:

In 1979 the bow type Mustang headliner was replaced by a headliner module consisting of a backer board to which the headliner fabric was glued. These Mustang headliners can be replaced with either a complete unit or by scraping the old headliner fabric and gluing on new fabric. We carry, for your Ford Mustang, either the complete modules or the "scrape and glue" kits with sufficient replacement Mustang headliner fabric.

Original Patterns:

Our factory has been in business since the thirties. Original headliners were collected and our Mustang replacement headliners are all made from original patterns. In the modular types the accessory cutouts are made in the core to facilitate replacement. In the earlier bow type of headliner the center line of each headliner is marked and extra headliner fabric around the perimeter allows for stretching, aligning and trimming to fit.
