Ford Thunderbird Headliner Bows

Until 1979 Ford Thunderbird headliners were "bow mounted" headliners. The T-Bird roof was covered with Ford Thunderbird Tier vinyl fabric held in place by special headliner bows. Thunderbird headliner bows should last through several headliner replacements. Metal support bows are re-used from the old Ford Thunderbird headliner.

Original Patterns

Our Ford Thunderbird headliner is a reproduction of OEM headliner, using factory points, fit and finish. Each Ford Thunderbird headliner is sewn ready to install and is tailored to fit. Our factory collected original Ford Thunderbird headliners and our replacement headliners are all made from original patterns. In the bow hung headliner the center line of each headliner is marked and extra headliner fabric is provided around the perimeter which allows for stretching, aligning and trimming of the headliner to fit most easily.

Installation

All of our Ford Thunderbird headliners come with installation instructions. We also offer an Automotive Upholstery Handbook, which will help you install your Ford Thunderbird headliner. You will also find a spray adhesive, which is helpful in installing your Ford Thunderbird headliner.
